Abby Lu Cloth Diaper Review

                                    Little Abby Lu Cloth Diapers

First impression:
print is nice, heavy duty, straps look sturdy, inside cloth could be a little softer(( yet still feels great)) stitching is great

                                            photo.JPG    photo.JPG
Pros: Velcro and straps help fit babies varying waist sizes,  it looked comfortable on baby, lasted three hours before leaking, looks flat under clothes(not all big and bulky),wasn't too tight around the waist, you can definately use it for all ages from newborn to potty training :),it was easy to wash(( no extra pieces or inserts)). DIAPER DID GREAT IN THE WASHER (( and my water is hard)) Oh and check out the velcro strap on the inside!!!! love this because it keeps diapers and other clothes safe!!.

Cons- could of had a littler more elastic around legs and waist ( Amiyah is chunky monkey and still had room) , glitter in this specific print rubbed but came off with a wipe or water.I can't be mad at that, 3 hours is a long time to keep a CD on, and it was a very small barely noticeable leak.(( so minor i thought there wasn't one!!))
                                                    photo 4.JPG    photo 5.JPG

Diaper: the inside what makes the diaper!! Stitched inside helped to  make Amiyah's bum smooth( great if LO has to wear pants),Velcro adjustable straps worked great! No complaints there :)

Overall: very unique style of diaper
To be handmade and not store bought it does an excellent job, the flaws are very minor (( but no diaper is perfect right?)) I do recommend this to CD mamas out there, it worked, did what it's suppose to, and why not pay a reasonable amount of money for something so cute and unique? It's always good to add to that collection I know CD mamas have :) This diaper is perfect if your little one is a cute chunky monkey because he or she will have room to grow and be comfortable :)

Pricing: $13 to $14 (( for a diaper you can use forever?? its not bad at all))

Milestone Post #1

Milestones? what do they really entail? what is considered great?

This all depends on you. My Amiyah turned 3 months on the 16th and that was a huge milestone!!!! Being a single mom is not easy, but it definately is rewarding. From so called scares ........(( iugr ))when you were born, to you learning to hold your head up, holding your bottle, and laughing at my silly ways, I must say i look forward to the 16th's of each month, those are glorious days!!!!!!!!

                                    Now- 3 Months Old

Amiyah is getting smarter, gaining a personality,

and becoming familiar with faces. She isn't a fan of guys

(( thank god)) its too early for all that, and loves to sit in

her chair and watch everyone in the room talk. My princess

is only getting smarter, and im so glad to be her mom.

Its so shocking to me that this pic was taken when i was 7 barely 8 months!!! I personally think my belly is tiny....((but i blame it on my huge bum lol )) and im wearing black. But its taken alot for me to be proud of my belly (( story to come later)) but as I look back on it, Amiyah is a blessing that im glad I was chosen to have.

Alva Baby Cloth Diaper Review!

As a new mom we all struggle to figure out what is the perfect diaper for our little one. For the first moth and a half of Amiyah little life I used disposable diapers. Like many it put a huge dent into my pocket and i soon realized something had to give. When Amiyah got her first diaper rash i knew it was time for a change. I started using all types of cloth diapers but stumbled on Alva Baby. Lets just say I was highly impressed!!!

My advice is to get diapers for all occasions. Trust me they have enough prints for possibly anything you could think of. If baby is at day care, get the diaper with colorful buttons so providers can properly assemble and there will be no accidents. If your going somewhere "fancy" opt for the solid colors so the cute prints done overshadow any outfits. And every other time go for a fun crazy prints because those are the cutest to see when babies are running around

Pros: Affordale ((less than 10 ))...wide selection...Lasts a long time...soft to touch...flexible while baby is wearing..
Cons: they come from china (( so it takes longer to recieve ))
